Ladurée began as a bakery in Paris, France in the year 1862. It was created by Louis Ernest Ladurée. Ladurée's wife, Jeanne Souchard, a decade later came up with the idea of blending Parisian café and Pastry shop into one. Thus creating one of the first team rooms in the city.
